Great Photoshop Alternative Tool for Graphic Design and Photo Editing fotojet
Sometimes, it would be hard to create beautiful visuals when you do not have the help of a graphic designer! Today, I will not tell you about Photoshop, but about FotoJet, a free online tool, which offers you an easy way to create visuals: posters, flyers, invitations, cards, and banners for your blog and social networks.
All that you have to do to use FotoJet is to access the link www.fotojet.com. It is not necessary to do registration or any other action to use it. You entered, opened the image, you can start editing it directly in your web browser.
You can then access three options on the homepage: create a design, make a collage and edit a photo.
Create a design:
By clicking on “Create a Design,” you will access a section allowing you to create several types of visuals: posters, flyers, invitations, cards, magazine covers, but also visuals for social networks. To create personalized dimensions, you will need to subscribe to a Premium account.
Here my visual is composed of several images and elements. I can easily edit the color and opacity of these elements, and import my photos from my computer or my Facebook account. FotoJet also proposes to import photos directly from the free image bank Pixabay. It is also possible to customize the typographies. FotoJet offers a free selection of several fonts.
When the design accounts, it can be saved in JPG and PNG formats.
Make a collage
With the option “Make a Collage”, you will be able to create a grid composition of several photos. Simply choose a grid format, import your photos and place them on the grid with a simple drag and drop.
Edit a photo
The “Edit a Photo” option allows you to enhance your photos. In addition to basic tools like Crop and Resize, FotoJet comes with effects, stickers, overlays and borders to give more originality to your photo. However, not all features are available. This is because premium users can only use advanced tools and some more sophisticated effects.
Concretely, here are some different options unlocked in premium acccount:
* Advanced tools (Sharpen, Vignette, Dehaze, Noise, Color Splash, etc.)
* Creating custom dimensions
* Additional templates
* Additional resources (including crowned effects, fonts, stickers, overlays and frames)
* No advertising
* Save design as project and edit it later(which is very useful for me)
My Final Opinion:
FotoJet is a very practical and simple tool for those who need basic edits, or for anyone who simply got tired of the complexity of Adobe Photoshop. You can do very well with what’s available in the free version and the most important you can save your work even you don’t upgrade.
